Taco Soup

Taco Soup


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 package mild taco mix (McCormick)
  • 1 16 oz. can cut corn, drained
  • 1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained (Western Family or Albertson's brand)
  • 1 28 oz. can stewed tomatoes, (S&W "Italian" recipe)
  • 1 8 oz. tomato sauce (Hunt's "Special")



Cook beef and onion together. Add corn and kidney beans and mix. Add taco seasoning, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce and mix. Simmer for about ten minutes on medium to low heat. Garnish with grated cheese, sour cream and chips
